WHAT GUIDES MY WORK
I created The Compass Coach because I believe every person, whether a leader, a young person, or someone quietly carrying more than they show, deserves a space where they can pause, breathe, and understand what’s really going on beneath the surface.
I’ve spent over 28 years working within the public sector, and I understand the pressure people feel when they’re constantly assessed, compared, or expected to perform. My work is rooted in the belief that growth happens when people feel safe, seen, and supported. Coaching isn’t about fixing anyone. It’s about helping you reconnect with your strengths, understand your patterns, and move forward with clarity and confidence.
The compass in my branding reflects this: a gentle guide back to your true direction, not a map that tells you where to go. Nature inspires everything I do — the calm, the space, the symbolism of growth. My coaching style mirrors that: steady, grounded, warm, and deeply human.
MY APPROACH
Ethical. Trauma‑informed. Relational. Flexible.
People often tell me that working with me feels like exhaling. I coach in a way that helps people slow down, think clearly, and reconnect with who they are — not just what’s expected of them. I’m values‑led, down to earth, and never in a hurry.
My early experiences in education taught me how deeply words, labels, and expectations can shape identity and self-belief. That understanding sits quietly beneath everything I do and informs the way I hold space for others — with gentleness, curiosity, and respect.
My approach is:
• Trauma‑informed
• Ethical and reflective
• Relational
• Values‑led
• Flexible and responsive
For some, that means a quiet room and a reflective conversation. For others, it means walk‑and‑talk coaching in the countryside, using movement, fresh air, and open space to support clearer thinking and emotional release. The environment becomes part of the work — chosen intentionally to help you feel grounded, safe, and able to explore what matters.
My work is rooted in integrity, empathy, social justice, and a belief that people do best when they feel safe enough to be themselves.
